A majority of super delegates are un-pledged and say they will go with the people. Plus, Obama is looking to be in good position to secure enough of a lead to make super delegates mostly irrelevant

OK I'm just making a prediction here but I think those guys are in the Old Boys' Club and Friends of Bill. If Obama wins the people's vote by a wide margin then I think the super-delegates would follow suit but in a close race where the people haven't really 'spoken' they'll go with the old guard.

the importance of super delegates is way overrated, plus there are a whole bunch of "old guard" dems who hate hillary. you're whole theory is nothing but conjecture anyways. don't be so paranoid.

They make up about 40% of the delegates.

so? you make it sound as though every single one of them are corrupt, love hillary, and are involved in some sort of scheme to overthrow the will of the people.
none of that is the case though.

While this is true, many more of them have already pledged to go for Hillary than Obama.
It could sway the race.

My assumption is that if the super delegates overturned the election by voting against the winner of the regular delegate count, then there would be a major uproar and backlash that the party cannot afford. They're going to vote with the flow.
PS: although out of the pledged delegates, Hillary has more supporters, the majority are unpledged and pledges can by repealed at any point up to the official vote.

Their very reason for existence is to circumvent the will of the people if the will of the people challenges the core values of the Democratic Party. Also, I do believe that as people of power most of them are corrupt. I don't know about loving Hillary but they are down with that Clinton name.

Wrong.
All unfledged super delegates will go with the popular vote winner in the primary. To do otherwise would alienate the voters and give the Republicans a good chance of stealing a lot of votes.

I just like that they still entertain the public with "voting" when clearly that doesn't mean shit and the electoral college determines it, not the people.

honestly, when it comes between between Obama and Clinton we need to pick the one with the better vice president.
If we see the first woman or black president we'll see another assassination.
