Anybody ever have crazy coincidental experiences that make you feel like you're in the Matrix and some computer programmer's fucking with you?

um...there is most certainly something weird going on here, but I don't think about it being the matrix or anything...
weird shit happens a lot, but to say a computer programmer is fucking with you is a bit peculiar I reckon

Yea definately not matrix type shit, because the universe is consistent. I think.. then again, the last time I did a bunch of K, slow-motion was quite pronounced.
But yes yes these coincidences happen all too often for me. This includes parallel dreams and shit.
I think there is no such thing as coincidences... it's all science of the quanta.

I didn't mean for that to be taken so literally. Anytime a profound coincidence occurs in my life, it seems like someone's controlling my reality.

I think it is pretty cool when coincidental/synchronicity stuff happens.... A cool guy I know once said to me that it is a sign that you are on the right path....

Right on PTC, the universe is irrational and synchronicity is a sign the mind is approaching the rational.
Reading Carl Jung, Robert Anton Wilson and Tim Leary has helped me to understand synchronicity.
I've heard it happens more often as one awakens, I'm reading VALIS by PKD right now and it happens every few hours or so...

Awesome... I hold this same belief. But then again, you could have aweful nightmarish coincidences... and it much the same way, if those coincidences aren't putting a smile on your face you know you're on the wrong path!
I think that there is a power so fuckin incredibly perfect and in such synchronicity with the mind.. that if we knew how to ride our emotions and our mind... the world would be ours to have. Ofcourse, this kind of thought came to me via Wallace Wattles' book The Science of Getting Rich and The Secret...

One night I tripped pretty hard. I was convinced that aliens were communicating with me. Then I heard three loud crashes outside my apartment. I thought aliens had crash landed. In the morning I went for a coffee. Inside the cafe there was a few people with a map excitedly searching for something. For a minute I was sure that they were looking for the crash site. Made it real.

I have number synchronicites quite often. It means I'm on the right path. Whenever I eat LSD my reality is put into synchronistic events where it all falls into place perfectly, slips right into the groove. It is just the universe waking you up.

Thanks for the movie link in your sig BTW. A lot of people had recommended it and I finally watched it a few hours ago. It put me in touch with a lot of powerful, fearful, angry emotions surrounding 9/11 (that I think are still controlling a lot of people's perspectives today at a subconscious level), and when Ram Dass spoke at the end I was doubled over in tears.
-------------------- “Strengthened by contemplation and study, I will not fear my passions like a coward. My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Jesus jones/jackson!!
I later realized it was probably the trains that I lived next to. But that morning was crazy. The bike path was also closed off like something had happened. And that night cop cars raced by a few times chirping their sirens like they were trying to scare something or chase it.

I asked my friend the other day if he thought there was actually such a thing as a coincidence. The conversation went like this: "Do you think that there's actually such thing as coincidence?" "... I don't know" "Good point"

i was looking for a place to do shrooms at and called my childhood buddy because he lives alone now and i hadn't seen him for years, thought it could be a good experience to talk & trip. so i called him at a local mall, there's a huge land rover behind me near the cafe i was sitting at. so i call him, he picks up, i ask him about it, he says he's in my town right now anyway. i ask where exactly, he says he is in the mall. i say wow, i'm in the mall too. where exactly?
he was of course standing behind the land rover, stepped out and it was insane.

wow thats fuckin nuts dude ^^^
the more aware you are, the more you see the synchronicities. time will fuck with me. "significant" enough events seem to happen at times when the number is a palandrome.
after getting into feng shui, LOTS and LOTS of synchronicities started happnening.
things are always happening, but it doesnt mean people always see them. or understand them.
so, are synchronicities and omens the same thing? seems to me they are..

they're similar. i think a synchronicity is a more personal experience whereas an omen is the kind of significant coincidence which can be recognized by the group mind, the tribe, culture, or other form of self-aware collective consciousness.
