Mycena rorida?
    #8013018 - 02/12/08 12:03 PM (15 years, 11 months ago)

while doing a little research into bioluminescent fungus the other night I came across mention of Mycena rorida in two places as having glowy spores, yet no luminescence from fruiting bodies at all. not sure why but this interests me quite a bit and I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience or other sources of info as all I found were two vague mentions (one was from a journal published in 1950). anyone cultivated them? observed them even? any and all help will be greatly appreciated guys. chances are it will probably amount to nothing but I am all aboout the knowledge (and anything with the potential to turn into laminated glowing sporeprint coasters for the coffee table, no matter how short lived they may be, is definitely worth a little reading lol)  thanks again

They found some REALLY good ones in Brasil year or two back. I mean these ones are extremly bright!

Search "Glowing mushrooms brazil" in google and you can see a lot of information.
