Growing Questions; somewhat of a grow log.(Pics, B+ strain and GT strain)

Hey guys, I've been reading and absorbing all of the knowledge that I possibly can from here, but I've still got a few questions and notes.
Currently, I've got 5 full pint jars of the GT strain, and 4 of the B . I expect the GT strain will be finished and ready to fruit within about 2-3weeks(possibly more?). Little bit longer for the B .
Originally, I had planned to just dunk and roll and put the cakes in a fruiting chamber powered by an ultra sonic humidifier. I was going to follow the MMGG, but after realizing the complete simplicity of it, and how well the jar inoculation went, I decided to take a few different routes.
At first I was going to do a combination of MMGG and RR's youtube videos. The messiness of the perlite really deters me away from it; so I decided on different humidifying tek. Ultra Sonic Air Humidifier? Research says Cool Mist Humidifiers are better. Then I read that using both is even better? Do I need a drip shield?
Just as well, should I grab some dry perlite and coat the bottom fruiting chamber with a bit(3/4"-1") to absorb dripping condensation, or use no perlite and elevate the casing trays?
Should the only hole in the fruiting chamber be the one connecting the hose to the humidifier? Is fanning going to be necessary, or will the FAE from the humidifier hose be enough to self-sustain?
Are light cycles necessary? Should I go out and invest in a grow lighter timer?
I think I'm going to follow ShroomGod's Humidifier tek, and use the 50/50 casing tek, as well as hyphae's pinning strategy. What I'm wanting to do is create the best self-sustaining fruiting chamber that I can, without having to constantly change out water from the chamber(just the humidifier).
As for the casing tek, about how much space will a pint jar of colonized mycelium cover?
Once I get to the FC stage, will I need to worry about misting/fanning at all?
Here are pictures of how things are going as of now:
First 4 jars are the B+ strain, inoculated ~2-3 days after the 5 GT jars. I've had no contaminates so far; had to throw one jar out(had a weird smell, accidentally tipped it over into the pot while sterilizing, messed up the moisture level inside, didn't wanna risk it)

And here's the 5 GT jars:

I know these are a lot of questions, but there's a lot of general confusion on these topics whenever I search around for them. Think you can help me out?

I think you are right for planning everything out beforehand but I think you need to keep everything as simple as possible for your first try (which this is, i assume.) Obviously, just perlite and water in a tub would work easiest, but if you want a fairly cheap easy way to automate it, I would look up the Poor man's pod if I were you. I STRONGLY suggest using geolite (or hydroton whatever it is called around you) instead of perlite, but you can use perlite if you are hard pressed. Geolite is way easier to handle and reusable. I found a bag on amazon for 20 bucks shipped. Perlite is a pasty mess, imo.
The PMP is fully automated and has worked for me very well. You can try the humidifier but that is going to cost you more time and effort.
Whichever way you choose, good luck, and have patience.

I actually read up a bit more, and decided to go with a monotub. Seems to be exactly what I'm looking for!
A question though, I can simply take the substrate out of the jars, dunk it, crumble it up in sterile bags, use it as the substrate layer of the monotub, and then just put a 50/50+ casing layer on top of it(or possibly a layer of verm below, then substrate, then casing)?
Thanks for the help.
