automated PC control

I'm looking to automate my pressure cooker since most of my time in this hobby is spent staring at it. I figured I would get a high temperature electronic pressure sensor, unscrew the one that came with my PC and install this one. I would hook it up to a micro controller/computer and have it control the heat/gas flow to the PC. It would test the psi and adjust the temperature as many times a minute as I wanted and would turn off after a specific time, could turn it on and walk off. Controlling the heat wont be hard but I can't find a good high temperature psi sensor. Anyone have experience in fields which would use one of these? I'm thinking steam heating, high pressure pipes, propane, engines, things like that.

The problem I see is "safely" cutting a hole in your PC in order to mount your pressure transducer. How you you plan to do this?
I'm not sure, but you're going to want to measure differential pressure, correct?
I looked a bit, but couldn't really find a cheap one ATM. Good luck.

you will also need an electrically controlled valve to vent the air a hot plate a relay that can handle the hot plate some digital electronics the 2 pressure sensor a temperature sensor here is how it would work the reset switch is momentarily closed the hot plate turns on after pressure sensor 1 sees 2psig the vent valve opens starts venting air (you would need to determan for how long ) after the venting is done and the valve closes and after pressure sensor 2 sees 16 psig the first time the timer starts timing and turns off the hot plate pressure sensor 2 turns the hot plate on at 15 psig and off at 16 psig until the time limit is reached or you could get an electric pressure cooker

OH I for got the temperature sensor is wired to an SCR crowbar that blows the fuse to the hot plate to act as a safety and force you th fix what ever is wrong before you try to use this device again you can get the pressure switches, temperature sensor, relays and valves at a heating & air supply house the digital electronics on the net

I have seen pressure switches on ebay which can open/close a circuit once a certain pressure is reached. They have about a 3% psi error rate. On the spec sheet it says the max temperature on the sensor side is 250F. This is about the temperature you get at 15psi right? What do you guys think? I would hook this switch up to open a hotplate circuit once 15psi was reached. There would be a timer on the main circuit that would kill the power no matter what once it ran down. The only iffy thing would be that the time from when the pressure cooker turned on to when it hit 15psi would have to be taken into account. What do you guys think?
