'Recognizing' a fellow shroomery member

Say we were all at a huge party with many non-shroomery members, do you think you could pick out certain members in real-life merely by their online personas?
Of course, many of us over the years have revealed things about our age, height , gender, ethnicity (or posted pictures) or other obvious physical clues, but could you do it without such aids and without discussing philosophic/mystical topics?

I don't know. But maybe I could attract the energies of the members whose ideas I've felt attracted to over the course of my life on the Shroomery. Cannot say for certain. I think these things are best left to happenstance.

I do know one thing, if I walked around the room and kept emphasizing certain keywords/phrases like: Synchronicity, I was abducted, Everything happens for a reason, God will save you, I can read minds, etc etc.... And I just keep track of the people who cringed the most, I might be able to narrow down a few of you....
It would be a good time tho~....

If I knew that there were a number of P&Sers at the party, I could probably pick several of them out if I happened to wind up conversing with them. Some people have very distinct personalities. I also think that I would be easy to spot from a mile away.

Well lets see. I would expect Phantomcat to be purring if happy and hissing and spitting if he wasn't.
OC would definitely be in a not quite arguement with someone demanding proof and Icelander would be standing nearby egging him on.
MT and FWG would be the ones we told to "Get a room".
That's the ones I would recognize first.

Somehow I don't think I would have to go to that much thinking. Unless they were dressed up in costume or drag. Then I would look at their teeth because dental records don't lie.

I highly doubt it. Typing on a computer and having a conversation with a person right in front of you seem like two very different mediums of communication. I doubt many people talk the same way they type, but I might be wrong.

Party at my place when I am all better. I have room for 5 guests: Middleman, a member with Lucy, and all the P&S females.
I'll bring the Lucy. Which female P&S regular do I get to bunk with?

all shroomery members who have over 5,000 posts traditionally get their genitalia tattooed by ythan. it says "shroomery", plus there's the shroomery symbol (blue mushroom) on the buttocks.

I once randomly ran into a fellow Shroomery member and instantly recognized him. Although it was OMR and who could miss his distinctive mug and jew fro.
I wonder how many times we have come across other Shroomerites in our off-the-internet lives and not known it. We should all wear a secret ring or something to tip others off. Who is down?
