OH SHIT MY TEMPS WERE TOO HIGH!!!
    #8010641 - 02/11/08 08:09 PM (15 years, 11 months ago)

So I knocked up 6 WBS quart jars on friday night. To make long stories short, I ended up having my incubator temps at 105 F, the jars were in there from inoculation to about 3 days later (today) when I noticed the problem and quickly put the jars in an 80 F enviroment. So what are my chances of success, I do plan on keeping the grow trucking along, but i'd like to know if anybody has any speed bump warnings or anything that could be useful for me in my current situation.

room temp would have likely been just fine.

you gotta dial it in before you put it in the incubator,
and check it often because the myc builds its own heat.

if conditions in your home allow you to wear 1 layer of clothing without
freezing then id say its safe for myc to be at room temp.
