February in Canada

There is an extreme cold weather advisory in Ontario. People are advised to stay indoors. We have 15 foot frozen snowbanks on the side of every street in the province thanks to the 60cm of snow that fell last week.
Everything is frozen, white tundra. Wooley mittens, scarves and long johns under your jeans. Keep your cats inside, their paws will get frostbitten in minutes. It's dark as night by 5.30 and the only sound in the darkness is the biting wind and the salt trucks.
Plug in your electric blankets...it's February in Canada.

yep I've heard people say this all the time but once they experience it's back to the sunny state, it can be brutal, like deadly sometimes, there's nothing cool about massive car pileups on the highway.

key word = see. i hate our cold days, much less REAL cold days. if it's below 50 i stay inside. so yeah, i'll admit innocence and bask in our 70 degree winter days

There is actually something quite beautiful about the quiet, sleepy world all blanketed in clean, white snow. Watching big fat snowflakes floating down from the sky.
It's really very beautiful.

The snow is coming down pretty hard here in Ohio. It's been so cold these past couple of days. Weird weather we're having out here.. 70 degree's in Dec. 65 in Jan, and now this shit.
