I find a cocktail of whatever's available works for me, but by the looks of it I'm much more 'light-weight' than OP.
A couple drinks, some weed, and some shrooms does the trick for me (over the course of a night). I might have tried LSD once, but it was a shitty decision and I really had no means of trusting the supplier. It could have been any number of things and I wouldn't have known better. It wasn't a life changing bad trip, but it was unpleasant enough to make me wary of trying it again; but I will, inevitably.

Seriously, though, just smoke weed. I love it, it really relaxes me after a hard day's work, and all your problems just melt away...

Or any strong opiates....
Fentanyl, Heroin, Morphine, maybe Oxycodone....
You will probably develop addiction and mess up your life a little, but it will definitely "numb everything and everyone out"

My drug of choice was E for about 2 years. Then I got burnt out, and haven't had a pill in the past year.
After that, my drug of choice was coke- I spaced my moments every few months-and usually went through an 8-ball with some friends/girlfriend.
I like getting faded from weed a couple times a year-just release all that stress that has been built up, but I space it off so much-that I am still a very motivated individual.
My current drug of choice is mushrooms. I've had about 4 experiences(2 mild/2 strong) in the past 4 months. I plan on having many more =). By far, this drug has helped me grow spiritually and has taught me years of wisdom. It has made me more calm, mature, and a better human being.
The high is nothing like E, and never will be. Ecstasy is a fake drug though, it feels great for 6 hours-you're on top of the fucking world. Then you come down, and life sucks. The comedowns are real shitty-I feel unmotivated, depressed, cynical, bitter, angry, and I persecute myself for things that I shouldn't.
Experimenting with mushrooms has been one of the wisest decisions I have ever made in my life. From my past experiences, and the many more I have to come- I know that if I use this tool properly, I can become a supreme being. And yes, I am on a spiritual path and love every aspect of spirituality.

Something happened. Everything seems to be falling apart yet depending on me. Heroin would be no good, I want to be able to function if I don't have it.

MDMA is my drug of choice. I smoke marijuana daily, for medicinal issues (gotta love california club cards). I try to avoid alcohol but benzo's are very nice to relieve stress once in a while. I don't think there is going to be any drug that you can do daily that won't have long term side effects. Marijuana would probably be the most long term side effect free but it's going to cost you a lot.

sounds like you want heroin, ocs will suffice if you can't get the horse. does the price of opiates scare you? don't worry, once you get on them all that ish will fade. opiates are the ultimate numb, but being strung out really sucks after a while. true junkies either die high or somehow manage to quit totally. imo not worth it, but ride your road

Maaaan you are so on your way, but dont see it as a supreme being, no being is supreme/superior, only more consciously evolved, further on the path. But its all the same path.
I used to do lots of coke, went thru a pill (E) phase (lost my best friend to pills), drank a lil bit (never been a big drinker), i need to space my weed like you do
But once i found shrooms i found what its all about, what you dont wanna do is slip back into the coke/E thang ever again, if you have to use shrooms recreationally to replace those things like i admittedly HAVE done fair enough, but you should see them as separate from those drugs as shrooms are not a "drug" in that sense, the only relation they have is that the reason you probably first tried them was to "get fucked up" i know i wasnt looking for a spiritual experience my first time tripping, or even my 30th time tripping to be honest!
So jsut moderate dude! You sound like me a few years back (in drug terms except i did ALOT more) and its SO easy to fall back into cocaine, which is an evil drug if you lok at what it does to you and the world around you. The coca leaf however is pure i would never disrespect the plant. Keep in mind your spiritual aspirations, i once lost mine so this time i will never forget! dont make the same mistake and lose 2/3 years of your true life.
Fasho, I'm sure everyone says this- but I honestly felt like I could handle coke pretty well-as long as I don't do it 2 nights in a row. That's when greed sets in.
I haven't outlawed pills yet...I'm leaving it open as a future possibility-probably in a few years, maybe sooner. All depends. As for right now, I have zero desire to do XTC. That shit is so fake.
I am an egotistical individual. I believe that a human with extreme intelligence, extreme spirituality, extreme creativity, and extreme physical fitness is far superior to a human who is spiritually weak, physically weak, and of average intelligence.
Yes, they are both human-but one chose to fully utilize his resources, while the other didn't. Of course, you can bring up the nature v. nurture argument-but I will always have a higher respect for the man who utilized his resources.
The world was not meant to be fair and equal. Society tells us that we want equality-but it will never be like that. Cancer still exists, the AIDS epidemic exists, people get shot, raped, used for sex like tools.
Some people choose to stone their asses off watching Robot Chicken all day, other people choose to go back to school and get their degree. The world will never be equal, and that's what I like about it. It keeps it interesting.

I would like to change my suggestion to simple antihistamine based sleeping pills. Let sleep be your drug. They are cheap, effective, and mildly clean if you don't take more than the recommended dose. And legal. And don't have any major social stigma attached. Not that you probably want that.
Or you just grow up and deal with it. Either way works. Ive tried both, and they both have their benefits and drawbacks.

It all comes down to weed, man. It helps other trips too, especially if I feel a bad time coming. I always come back to weed.
As far as actual tripping's considered, I'd say either mescal or LSD gave me the best experiences of my life.

The perfect trip for me has always been 1/8 of mushrooms, a bowl of weed for the come up, a bowl for the comedown, and a few canisters of Nitrous for the peak.

The only psychedelics I've done are mushrooms and acid, but how can you guys recommend these a drug to escape the world? In all of my experiences, I've never felt closer to reality than when I'm tripping. If I had a bad day and want to escape, the last thing I'm going to do is eat some mushrooms.

for me it would have to be weed. second would be both shrooms and lsd. no particular order. I hope to be trying cactus soon so who knows. maybe that will soon become number 2. nothing can replace my love for ganja tho.

prescription drugs, some combinations are fucking mad, but yeah you won't know whats going on, look up how to get them and fake symptoms. also get the drugs that are covered by your insurance then you already pay for them and your just getting what you pay for. i don't do this but hey i know it's possible to get lots of shit. takes some research to figure out though it's like a spiders web, but a spider on acid, it's confusing and hard, but with enough determination you can beet the system and not get caught.

If you just want to blissfully sink into your couch and let all the problems of the outside world just slip away, then heroin would be your best bet. Trouble is, shit can get rather pricey and the whole addiction aspect would soon have you permanently numbing everything out.
Therefore, I think what you're looking for is an opiate that is fairly cheap and not too addictive--but with enough kick to make that night a dream-like haze. Solution: poppy pod tea or some form of opium derived from this cheap source of opiods. Add a little ganja, maybe some N2O, some dub tunes and a nice couch, and you've just described a perfect recreational evening.
Of course, this only literally answers your question. If I were to give you some unnecessary spiritual advice, I would say to look at why you want to numb everything else out... perhaps like the majority of people commenting in this thread have mentioned, go for a good eighth of shrooms and take a good look at what you're doing. It might be more beneficial in the long run than just "numb-ing out" everything.

Yep. Weed is all I need, with a few 'field trips' with PC once in a while. I stay away from the Opiates.

yes, my favorites are weed and shrooms; but I dont' agree that they will block everything out and make you numb... on the contrary they bring me into face to face confrontation with the issues in my life.
You want to be numb? Want to not feel anything? Anything? Then dxm's (and by dxm I mean Coricidin) is what you're looking for. Benefits include loosing your sense of smell and taste (food tastes like rubber), not giving a shit about anything - on dxm binges I really dont give a crap if I die - if anything its funny, your brain will stop having thoughts and you'll be able to sit completely blank for hours on end, and your emotions will be gone - your chest will feel hollow and cold, you'll feel the wind blow through your soul.
Oh, and as an extra bonus - your digestive system might stop working and then you'll have to use an enema everytime you need to shit. Now thats fun! I gurantee that when you'll have to lie down on the floor and shove a rubber tube in your ass and pump water into your butthole to be able to poop you won't care about anything else in the world at that point.
Dxm will numb out everything and anyone - including yourself!
Cheap - hell yeah (you can even steal it) Clean - lol not at all Effective - you betcha

I have not answered the question
Small amounts of Cannabis and occasionally MDMA are mine. Followed by Mescaline, even more occasional.

my drug of choice has changed, throughout my drug career. depending on where i was in my life.
i went through a MASSIVE DXM stage. tripping 5-6 times a week for 6-7 months straight. at the time i loved it, and i would recomend it for others. but as for myself, i can't touch it ever again, and haven't for over 2 years now.
the coke phase was fun, although it's too expensive. i dont like dealing with shady people (and with coke, usually comes some shady people) and now i might do it once or twice a year, if the occasion calls for it.
good E is always fun, but very easy to get burnt out. i never really went for it hard, as its very hard to locate quality E where i lived at the time.
i only got the lucky experience of trying acid one time. and that was by far the best drug i have ever taken. it was amazing, thats all i can really say to explain it.
and shrooms. shrooms are always good. always spiritual. and always a good time. and you can learn a lot on them.
if your looking for some new superdrug to take you away, it's not going to happen. it seems like you probably have tried most of the regulars. drugs wont make any problems go away, if thats what your looking for. it is best to solve the problem, then take the drugs. not take the drugs to solve the problem. (sorry if i came off harsh, i was just letting you know what i have learned through personal experiances)

Ketamine is awesome at substituting a really far out and subjective reality for the more objective one. It's why dissociatives offer so much addiction potential for psychedelically-minded escapists such as myself. I'd do k over opiates any day. K-holes are so mysterious, it makes me feel very much like a psychonaut, so there is more of a sense of exploration and accomplishment, IMO, than with opiates.

therapy?? using drugs (even pot) to hide from shit does not get rid of the problem. use drugs for fun, enlightenment, whatever, but not to run from problems.
as for drug of choice, grass for sure. you can smoke, and smoke, and smoke all night, and still be ready for work the next morning.

They are cheap, effective, and mildly clean if you don't take more than the recommended dose. And legal. And don't have any major social stigma attached. Not that you probably want that.
Exactly what I'm looking for, its been a bitch sleeping at night, that could be why I have pretty much zero tolerance for anything stressful.
Any recommendations?

I usually just buy whatever is cheapest. I have some "Rest Simply" that contains "diphenhydramine" for a couple of bucks (12 doses). Its the same thing as "Simply Sleep", only generic. And there is no need to take more than the recommended dose. I took some last night and it totally took me out for like ten hours. I felt great this morning. I try to avoid using sleeping pills more than three times a week. Ive always had sleeping problems, so its very tempting for me...
