call AT&T, request your detailed records for any given day when they say "sorry sir/madam, you'll need a subpoena to obtain that information"
cite this
http://www.att.com/gen/privacy-policy?pid=7666#108
Quote:
All AT&T employees are subject to the AT&T Code of Business Conduct and certain state-mandated codes of conduct. The AT&T Code requires all our employees to follow every law, rule, regulation, court and/or commission order that applies to our business at all times. In addition, the Code specifically requires compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to the privacy of communications and the security and privacy of customer records. Employees who fail to meet any of the standards embodied in the Code of Business Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
and then this http://www.ftc.gov/privacy/glbact/glbsub1.htm#6802
Quote:
Sec. 6802. Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information
(a) Notice requirements
Except as otherwise provided in this subchapter, a financial institution may not, directly or through any affiliate, disclose to a nonaffiliated third party any nonpublic personal information, unless such financial institution provides or has provided to the consumer a notice that complies with section 6803 of this title.
*snip*
(e) General exceptions
Subsections (a) and (b) of this section shall not prohibit the disclosure of nonpublic personal information -
(1) as necessary to effect, administer, or enforce a transaction requested or authorized by the consumer, or in connection with -
(A) servicing or processing a financial product or service requested or authorized by the consumer;
(B) maintaining or servicing the consumer's account with the financial institution, or with another entity as part of a private label credit card program or other extension of credit on behalf of such entity; or
(C) a proposed or actual securitization, secondary market sale (including sales of servicing rights), or similar transaction related to a transaction of the consumer;
(2) with the consent or at the direction of the consumer;
if you really really want to have some fun, tell them the call is being recorded when they refuse to take the call ask if it's being recorded on their end
I'm sending the tape the a couple TV stations, thank god georgia has laws allowing me to record calls as long as at least one of the parties involved knows it's being recorded... that would be me

it's funny to hear the stress level in their voice increase on a couple key words
what's funnier is when I do hit them with a subpoena for my boss' business phone records and a lawsuit

my boss fired my brother today, he's been riding his ass for months over nothing, well, 'cuz we have a drama queen for a shop supervisor, my brother didnt care what was going on in the guys home life, just leave us alone and let us work
bossman said my brother didnt call in, he called the house 5 minutes later and fired him over the phone, it's possible that the drama queen deleted the message
phone records prove he called and that the call was returned, it also reflects a call to the plant manager a few minutes later and that one being returned
now if the hippies want to stick it to those that are oppressive, this is the way to do it, flood the phone lines with these requests, when people catch on, lawsuits will arise, then comes more media attention
