All mushrooms mutated on cakes
    #7993756 - 02/07/08 08:28 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

Hello, my cat grew 9 cakes in a clear container and there were no sign of contamination and 4 of the cakes only grew mutants. the cat is about to consume 2.5 grams of the mutated ones, should I stop him because its unsafe?

it may just be genetics, you know, how some people are fat and ugly while others are just fat and stupid, similar to the way your mushrooms turned out, on the other hand i suppose it could be something in the substrate or maybe you were strangely injecting lysol into them, either way i wouldnt kill them just because their ugly, your cat should just free them from their deformed little existence and eat those suckas!

besides, its just a cat, if it gets sick and dies you can just get another one :thumbup:

SWIM= retarded

Those fat stubs of mushrooms are due to Lysol fumes.....I had the same thing happen to me. Lysol kills fungi....a mistake many people make-inclding me.

One of these days people will quit repeating that BS simply because they read it somewhere else. Lysol does NOT cause mutants, even though it's not something you want to spray on your fruits. Lysol is mostly alcohol.
