Contaminants! Why raise your terrarium off the floor?

The other is to get your air intake filters and humidifier off the floor. 90% or more of all contaminants are within a few inches of the floor, due to gravity. RR
What's the science behind this?

The last part of that sentence is the science behind it.

There are naturally more contaminants on your floor due to gravity. Thats where the food is. You'll have to construct a real sentence for me to be able to help you any more than that.

Why doubt? The science behind it is the fact that it ends with "RR." Everything he says is true, and if it's not, then the act of him saying it bends reality and makes a rift in spacetime, and makes it BECOME true.

I was going for a more symmetrical term like example (im not smart at words): "The spores in the air are heavier then the air particle spore count in your house or some shit like that

well obviously the spores are heavier than the air in the room because if they were lighter than air they would be at the ceiling lol. the spores being heavier than air and gravity are the reason

There's really not a whole lot to it. Gases are typically less dense than solids and liquids. Spores and other living cells (bacteria) are mostly solids and liquids. So they sink in the air. That's not saying that there's absolutely no bacteria/spores higher up in the air, but there is less concentration of them.
