let it grow as long as it can last...
i mean there is a chance they'll be ok... are you going to just trash them?
i also find that the cakes grow better if you dont' fuss too much about them
at least in my experience...

i say spray the area where ther contamed cake was and surrounding areas,with an H2O / H2O2 solution. Then wait and pray, good luck...................peace
