youll be fine taking calc I. Just DO EVERY STICK OF HOMEWORK! Never miss a hw and youll pass it, no prob.
It's all just limits and shit.
think about it like this: If you take it and fail, youll take it again and pass, and that would be the same amount of time and money that it wouldve taken to take precalc and then calcI while still having a hard time. Take Calculus. Fuck precalc.

Yeah, the calculus series here takes things at a pretty relaxed pace, and covers everything from precalc.
But you do need to do the homework. And if there's stuff on it you don't understand, goign to your prof's office hours is very helpful... I didn't start goign to office hours until my junior year, definitely regret that.

Yeah dude... I didn't do well in precalc, but I aced calc. From what I remember, it didn't seem like precalc had very much at all to do with actual calc... Calc rocks though man, you'll have fun with it if you can get into it.

Are you familiar with trig functions? sin, cos, tan....etc If you haven't done any trig before, you should probably take precalc.

I took precalc in senior year of high school and didnt give a shit or pay attention at all. Now I'm in college, got a B+ in Calc 1 without a problem, and am taking Calc 2 now. I'd say just go with Calculus. Or you could ask a professor if there is any sort of calculus readiness test you could take.

i was in the same boat, didnt give a shit about precalc my senior year. came to college, got a B in college algebra and an A in statistics. i think i can manage calculus now that im more mature.

Just take good notes, do ALL the homework, and see your professor during office hours if you need help. I'm sure you'll do fine

its not that bad leanin...if you have some basic skills with math, algebra, and trigonometry, then your set.
Know your trig functions well, all six of them. Also, like someone else said, do every lick of homework, and you will learn it.
Cal 1 is limits and basic derivatives...the first time I took it I failed, the second time got a B and followed directly into Calculus 2 and got an A in there, I really liked it once I applied myself to it, some really cool stuff.

It was already said, but Ill reiterate...
Precalculus does not deal with calculus. Its a combination of college algebra and trigonometry. Briefcalculus on the other hand does deal with calculus, usually stopping short of introducing integrals (or briefly introducing them).

For some reason, Calc 2 was the hardest of them all for me.
Calc1, Diffeq/Linear algebra, MultiVariable, calc2
easiest to most difficult for me.
