The Anonymity Experiment (We have no privacy)
    #8006611 - 02/10/08 09:26 PM (15 years, 11 months ago)

In this fast paced modern world of electronics and surveillance, there is basically no way to have privacy. I just finished reading this article and it really opened my eyes on what people could do if they wanted to find you. Strange how people sell the most useless info. I recommend this article to anyone who has an interest on privacy (I'm sure it is an interest to many on here). Also, I was shocked to learn that 70% of americans think that we are guarenteed privacy, but the word doesn't even show up in the Declaration. Just something to make ya think.

--------------------
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to selfishness;
From selfishness to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.

It's the 14th Amendment muhfuckah!

"According to the Roe v. Wade decision, most laws against abortion in the United States violated a constitutional right to privacy under the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment."
