theses picks are from a previous grow that i really fucked up (neglected, birthed to early). somebody suggested that they were "bunk" spores meaning somebody tried to jew me but the syringe was 4 years old. well i started another grow with another 4 yr old syringe but kept better care of them this time and there are cubensis pins popping up everywhere but that strange fungus is starting to appear also...anybody know what it is...here are some pics from the first grow (early stages and mature) right now on my cakes they are in the early stage still but i dont want it to fuck up my cubes...

the spikey looking things towards the bottom of the cake are the early stages and thats what im starting to see on my new cakes, but there are a shitload more cubensis pins then the mystery shroom

Performance will be better if you stick to growing one species per cake. I'd suggest a new syringe. Those definitely are not cubes. They look somewhat like oyster mushrooms that are starving for fresh air and light. RR

well i wanted to know if they were any health risk towards the cubes. i did not grow those on purpose i think it may have something to do with old syringes. i bought 4 syringes 4 years ago and used 2 right away and worked wonderfully. just recently i used the other 2...1 syinrge produced only the shrooms that u see in that pic, the other syringe produced cubes and that shroom that you see and they were on the same cake. they are not oyster mushrooms i am afraid that they will cause harm to the cubes
