marriage is always worse for the guy than the girl. When youre a male, and married, youre trapped. She can basically leave whenever she wants and take nearly all of your stuff. You, on the other hand, cannot.
courts always side with the wife.

Marriage is only as expensive as you want it to be.
It's the wedding that can be expensive. It's the marriage that can be priceless.

yeah - Im going to get hitched at City Hall, then we are going to go to Montreal. All that white dress/church/limos/hall /wedding cake, is such a racket.
I have been with my man for 4 years, I am more in love with him now, then ever. And I hope to gods it stays that way. I am also 34.
I dont think marriage is good for young people,(mostly) there is so much to do when you are in your 20's, and getting tied down seems like a good way to get to resent your partner, but thats my opinion.

That bodes well.
I got tired of "being with" one person for so long.

I'm 21 and I don't see myself being a married man until my 30s or 40s. I see a lot of my friends are beginning to jump into the commitment, and I don't understand why they're rushing. Seems like they're clinging to security.

QFT
Im 22, soon to be 23, and im dating a girl who i have been on and off with for almost 5 years. I'm definitely committed in this relationship. No matter how mad we might get at each other this is the girl that i will always love, together or apart. but being 22 and children and rings on the horizon, im starting to get a little apprehensive. I see my friends getting engaged, too. My best friend and I, though, are stickin up for each other. Marriage can be hell. true story. even if you love each other. Relationships arent black and white, theyre grey with comprimise which is rarely in the man's favor; especially with marriage. Even pre-nups expire. It just sucks.
Plus, my grandparents are telling me not to get married til im 40. ha. theyre great. I wouldnt have children until i at least was engaged, and they would rather see me not marry til im ready than be great grandparents.

it does bode well.
I liken it to cooking the perfect curry. the longer you cook it, and the more you put into it, the more complex and amazing it gets.
unless you don't like curry.

it doesn't...
"The National Center for Health Statistics recently released a report which found that 43 percent of first marriages end in separation or divorce within 15 years."
it doesn't seem natural either and i starting the believe that our species should be past this stage...

Prenup.
And they say this is a male dominated society!

Marriage is really a female conspiracy to take over the world.
