pinning in jars, to late to put in compost?
    #8003812 - 02/10/08 07:45 AM (16 years, 1 month ago)

I have a colinized jar that just started pinning, can I still break it up and put in compost?

Anybody know how to ship wet mushrooms, would they be ok to put in paper bag?

no, i wouldn't suggest it, if you can spare it, you could try it and maybe you'll get lucky and the mycellium will revert to "vegetative" growth

i'm not going to advise on shipping mushrooms, since i don't know that you mean edibles
shipping cubies would be stupid

You can easily spawn a grain or brf jar to compost even if it has a few invitro pins. They'll easily take off into the new substrate.

Don't ship wet fruits. Dry them first.
