Reality is subjective

Oh, Geez! I see we have 'another one' here. Reality is objective; interpretation is subjective. End-of-story.
To date not one single 'reality is subjective' believer will take 'The Shmoopy Rock-to-the-back-of-the-head Challenge'. Why not? Because they don't really believe what they claim.

I have a nice hefty rock. Are you volunteering the back of your head as a test case or merely jabbering?

You can't have subjective without objective.

reality is all-encompassing. reality is not just this or that, it is all and everything.
one can experience subjective reality without interpreting it.

All reality is interpretive. There is no true objectivity, just agreements we make.
-------------------- "A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

So if a large enough group of people no longer agree that electricity is 'real' then all of our appliances will stop working?

Just because an individual, or a whole species for that matter can never know 'true' reality doesnt make it interpretive. Whatever true reality is it will be their even if there is no consciousness to interpret it. Why? Because thats the definition of reality. Reality is that which exists outside of conscious interpretation.

I believe Reality to be equally subjective and objective.
Your rock to the back of the head is objective.
How music makes you feel is subjective.
Feelings cannot be quantified, thus making them not real.
Right?
Do you think something can exist with the ONLY following quality: The quality of not being quantifiable.

Reality is that which exists outside of conscious interpretation.
it is your perception that reality is objective. perception is subjective. we view objective reality through our subjective reality.
and do we have to interpret reality, can we not just observe it?

On a side note though: I don't think you can truly "observe reality" merely because observing is a form of participation itself; I.E. there are only participants. Eh?
EDIT: UNLESS observing was to be synonomus with experienceing, then Touche, sir!

Your only looking at the surface. The idea that things exist independently of yourself is an illusion. If you can't perceive it there no way to tell if it exists. If you perceive something you MUST interpret it through the filters installed by society during your conditioning. There is NO choice. It is impossible to be objective except as an abstract concept.

If the masses of people working at electrical plants were to stop believing in electricity, would you be the one to take their place to ensure that your appliances did continue to operate?
