Proof of Connectivity?

Just as I was posting on being sick, my blood brother who lives several thousand miles away and whom I have not seen in years, just e-mailed me to tell me he is really sick with the flu.
Coincidence or ...?

The noise-to-signal ratio here is getting higher.

It's certainly proof that it's flu season.

If that is true, then I can drop any responsibility for my health.

The term has become quasi illegitimized by misuse. I am referring to Jung's use of the term Synchronicity. For me Synchronicity is a very intimate thing. What others dismiss as coincidence, in my own experience I see as significant. For me they signify something I should be paying special attention to, and I have learned to listen. Often they let me know I am on the right path, or moving in the right direction. They can also warn me I am not!

I find that if you purposedly downplay any extra sense of significance (during this significant state of mind) the preponderance of synchronicity builds to a more amusing degree.

Well played sir I'll give you that, but we all need those private amusements of significance. Those things that make us chuckle only to ourselves because describing it would lessen it's significance significantly, so why lessen the significance of the synchronicity?

There are no coincidences, proof is not needed of interconnectedness once you have experienced it.
Only those that doubt need proof, and those that doubt shall not meet the experience, unless they hold the right intention to do so.

pay attention if you chase synchronicity (the appearance of) then it eludes but if you are unmoved by its concurrance, you do not chase it away. it's subtle.

I was taking a crap earlier, and I have this feeling that somewhere out there, somebody was also taking a crap.
And in that moment, I knew that this universe hums a single vibrational string theory song. And it goes,
"kerplop" as my shit dropped into the toilet bowl, and harmonized with all synchronized bowel movements across the universe.
Just messing around. Maybe it's significant, maybe it isn't. Like the number of bites it takes to get to the center of a tootsie-pop, the world may never know.
