Why you need to watch what tubs you use as your Fc.

Well i found this kinda humorous i took had to leave for a week when i was about to put a coir tray into my fruiting chamber my first coir grow, when i got back i found that it was starting to pin not to badly I was in quite a hurry when i was out the door so i just cased with 100% verm I use a fish tank bubbler to give Fae since it is quite a small tub it doesnt matter. I also live in the far north so i have very cold temps my chamber was sitting at 65 when i got back so i added an additional heater to the bottom. Now the interesting part is my perlite gives a very large amount of humidty and since my chamber is warmer then my room which sits alot lower then 65 i get condesation, so the first thing i want to point out is if anyone has similar circumstances to make sure there is no lips on the inside of the tubs like mine has cause when i got there was a build up of water. Now in the build up of water i must of at some point dropped a piece of Wbs cause when i got back there seem to be a little mushy growing there which i find quite humourous, since i noticed this i have cut drainage holes obviously to make sure it doesnt happen again but just thought i would share in case any newbies like me buy the wrong kinda bin. Here is a pic of the little guy you can see him sitting in the lip

Hydroponic shrooms do exist... I had a picture of one in a syringe of mycelium... Don't know why I ever deleted that, meh, it was on the old account anyways.

A mushroom forming from a piece of wbs is not hydroponics. Cool pic though. I've seen them forming on the glass of a quart jar far above the grains too. They're fun to look at. RR

I wonder if you could mix LC with some gelatin and make a Jello cake.

Gelatin sheets which i use all the time when i am cooking, when you want to make a liquid into a solid jelly like thing you melt a sheet in it depending on how much you put in will depend on how soft the jelly is, so you could easily make jelly cake with something that mushies loved some form of Lc i bet

You can't make substrates with jello. The mycelium digests the gelatin and turns it back to liquid. RR

I understand that jello gelatin is not a very good gelatin, but looking from what i see agar does turn to a gelatin when you use it correct. I am talking about using a form of gelatin similar to that which i use for cooking. I know the advantage to agar is its nutrisous for the myc but how come it does not turn it to liquid if in fact the mycelium eats it? I am not trying to fight you on this one at all just wondering for personally knowledge cause i am sure you can use agar agar as a gelatin in my field as well.
