A coincidence requires TWO or more events to have some unusual overlap.
"Water is clear" is not a coincidence. Period.
My VW bus is purple. Is that a coincidence?

To be fair, the OP did correlate two claims: water is critical for life, and water is clear. That said, it's not a very effective overlap.
Extending your analogy a touch: "My VW bus is purple." "My bedsheets are also purple."
This could be a coincidence, or it could be due to an underlying preference for the color purple.

Yes, if air wouldn't be clear, life would look absolutely different from now, if at all. Most gases are clear. Aren't most fluids as well ? As they become less dense, the probability to become some kind of 'clearer' rises. Purely physically. But to put it on the top. Diamonds are some quite clear, and at the same time one of the most dense substances and are so valuable. Coincidence ?

Once again, those are two attributes of the same substance and thus cannot be called a coincidence no matter how it is stretched.
My bus is both long AND purple. Coincidence?

Clear water? You mean the murky brown in my water isn't normal?
Also, there are things much more fundamental to life than either oxygen or water. Adenosine triphosphate anyone?

We have evolved visual apparatuses that see these life sustaining compounds as invisible...
Amazingly, my webcam also evolved to see these compounds as 'invisible'.

You don't get it, do you? Your webcam sees them as invisible because it has been programmed to see the same frequency range we do (ie visible light), and reproduce the same. (Why have a videocamera that doesn't see what we do? ... rhetorical question, i know, IR photography has applications)
A camera could just as easily be made to record a region of the EM spectrum where air or water was virtually opaque... don't know the appropriate lamda-maxes off the top of my head.

I get it fine, it's just nonsense.
Carbon is as important to life as water. The particular allotrope that life relies on is opaque.
Coincidence?
