It works okay for me, it sounds like you may have a corrupt download. To repair the file, please download and install QuickPar. Under options make sure it's associated with par2 files. Then download these files into the same directory as shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip:
http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.par2 http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.vol000+01.par2
Double-click on the first par2 file, and QuickPar should launch and repair the ZIP. If it says you need more blocks, you can use the files below. Start by downloading the first one, if you still don't have enough blocks get the second one too, etc.
http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.vol001+02.par2 http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.vol003+04.par2 http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.vol007+08.par2 http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.vol015+16.par2 http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.vol031+32.par2 http://www.shroomery.org/shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14.zip.vol063+37.par2
If QuickPar says no repair is necessary, try using 7zip to extract the file and see if that works any better.
Hope this helps!

Thanks it unzipped. Hmmm... Now the unzipped file has File in file type and I'm not sure what program do I open it with to read it. Windows is asking me what program to use to open it with. Zagiell

WinRAR will open up any type of compressed file, its the only compressed file opener you should use for windows

It has no extension when I go to properties for the file. When I open the folder that the file sits in it shows as "File" in the type window where it should say pdf, doc, ... This is what I see in properties for this file: "shroomery_grow_archive_2006_03_14" and this is after I expanded it.
