Dehydrating POO!

Can you pasteurized POO in the Dehydrator? My Dehydrator gets up to 145. I read that you want to put it in water at 160-170, does the temp difference matter a whole lot?

I'd like to simply know if there's any reason NOT to use a food dehydrator to dry poo? And if it gets hot enough, pasteurize it at the same time?
I think the temp needs to be above 150 for pasteurization but I'm not sure.
Cheers!

Because a de-hydrator de-hydrates.
Pasteurizing your bulk substrates is also bringing it up to Field capacity in the process.
After the hpoo is leeched 48 hour soak time, you can squeeze dry it and leave it for another 48 hours and then pasteurize, but using a de-hydrator will not work for pasteurization.

Thank you for the help , it will save much time.
Is there such a thing as poo being too leeched? A friend and I have not noticed anyone saying anything about poo being leeched too much, only poos potency decreased, and the topic is vague on how clear the water should run, may i assume that the nutrition values in poo is in the fibers that is left after leeching?

No, the older the hpoo the better since organisms such as plants/grass will grow off of it, over years what remains is much more nutritional for use as mycelium food then the fresh stuff that may contain additives such as anti-fungicides and what not, horses eat all kinds of stuff.
I spent a hour a day for a week sifting through some hpoo I gathered from a stable to remove rocks and other debris....
Cow poo I'm sure is a different story since cows have four stomaches that process their food it's best to use fresh cattle manure then aged since it does loose alot of its nutritional value during the refining process (if your buying it packaged)
It still works though, but coffee grinds are better then packaged cattle manure I have found.
