B+ on the top half and Texans on the bottom half. All were WBS spawned to HPOO in trays. Multispore innoc. This harvest was only 3 trays. Anyways, I know what I'm having for dinner tonight! LOL

Nice! In your experience, what's the difference in yield between hpoo and coir? I had limited success with cakes in a terrarium, but now I'm spawning brf cakes to hpoo and fruiting in a filter patch bag and I'm verrry happy with the results so far. I've never used coir, but I have a brick of it from petsmart just sitting here.

Much better pinset and larger yields. This is just my personal experience though. My sub depth was 3 inches with both coir and hpoo. I also cased with 50/50 mgmc and verm.

I've heard this about Hpoo before. Damn I can't wait till summer when I can get as much free bulk substrate as I want.

Very interesting...I guess I'll make a bag of coir and see what happens. RR has said it is comparable to hpoo in terms of nutes and will grow similar crops. This thread gave me the impression it was great: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/6004845 ...but it has always seemed to me that poop would be most natural for mushrooms.

People have sworn by coir/coffee grounds at a 50/50+lime/gypsum mix (if I remember) correct. The coffee is supposed to make up for coir's nitrogen deficiency. Though I'm pretty sure Hpoo is considered the better if not the best.
