Obama's speech 2004
    #7996174 - 02/08/08 01:01 PM (15 years, 11 months ago)

This guy gives me a glimmer of hope for the American people. His speech was the most inspiring since Kennedy. He is not only consistent in what he says from then up until now, but he represents real change for America IMO.

Obama is a politician, same as any other.

As if running for office suddenly saps a person completely of their integrity?

It's easier for people to resist change by believing that. Change scares a lot of people. Even, and maybe especially, positive change.

It isn't the running for office that saps a person of their integrity... it is the power of corruption (or the corruption of power) after they make it into office that saps their integrity. Look at the gifts that congress bestows upon itself at the taxpayers expense. Now look to see how many of the politicians vote against those gifts. Very, very few. (There are always a few good apples in a bad bunch. However, Obama is not one of them. He is in the pocket book of the globalists; corrupt to the core... no different than Billary, McCain, or King George in that respect.)

The profit of the mighty over the welfare of the many. (And I'm not talking socialist welfare.)

One of these guys is not a member of the CFR. One of these guys is not for bigger government and fewer liberties. Who is it?

Why does being a member of the CFR automaticaly mean you are corrupt? Are there any specific things linking Obama, and the CFR to corruption?

By your (in my opinion incorrect) logic, B-Rock would be the best choice because he has been in the "Integrity-Sapping, Power-Corrupting" Washington scene a shorter time than any of the other candidates...

I disagree with almost everything you said. I'm just saying...
