Perlite or Humidifer? Anyone

Should i get a humidifer for 10 cake setup, or just use perlite...and How easy is perlite to use, i heard it was easy but i dont think that it would work well with 10 cakes...also what kind of temperature gauge should i get that works the best.
Im still a little confused after reading the faq, but im starting to catch on a tad heh..

I would just go with perlite and if u need to some extra misting. Works fine with my 12 cake setup.

Does perlite keep the temperature well where it should be, and what is your 12 cake setup made out of ? pics?....What Humidity and what temperature gauge should i get

A basic thermometer/hygrometer from a lowes or hdepot type of store would work fine. You may need something in addition to keep the Temp where it should be if you have it stored in a cool temperature room. My set up is made out of verm and brf if thats what you were asking. It is very basic since i am not the most experianced grower, but it works very well. I have nothing but perlite and misting for humidty.
