i dont see what's so impossible about it..

gah what a bunch of stoners.. use your brains.

why would someone take time to make something fake like that..

the reason that there is a depression in the sand around it is more interesting to me than anything..

goggled sand lake Oregon seen nothing but pics of peeps on atvs having a blast.  Nothing about a strange formation. :crazy:  maybe its photoshop

It looks like a tree got covered by sand and then became petrified.

It's a result of wind blowing sand into the rock and eroding it. What is so impossible about that? At least that is what I think happened. It's just a rock with a lot of erosion that looks like a tree, right?

sedimentary rock on top of limestone/sandstone, the limestone erodes faster than the rock above it
