65 is dropping kind of low, I had jars between 64-68 F and after ten days of nothing happening I moved them to a different house, 70-76 F daily, and kabam two days later the mycelium was kicking ass. With temps in that range it wouldnt surprise me if it took as long as 2 weeks before anything really happened.

I usually takes me about 4-5 days to see growth of myc in 75-78 degree range. Using a spore syringe.

up to 3 weeks.

I'd definitely relocate to somewhere you can keep them between 70-80 F, which can easily be achieved in a bedroom closet inside a shoe box or something. Or the cabinet above your stove.
Either way, your jars should be fine, just might take a little longer to get going.

There's no reason to keep them in the dark.
At 65F, it could take three weeks to see mycelium from spores. Watch the language here please, this isn't OTD. RR

Sorry for the harsh language, was just sick of seeing Tahoe's negative remarks ALL over these boards so I assumed he was trying to throw me off. I'm working on my anger/patience problems, but until I master those skills-please forgive me.
And to all the jerks out there, please be nice...and you will be rewarded.
