Mycelium growth

I inoculated 6 1/2 pint jars with 1-2CC's of fluid four days ago. I am not seeing any type of growth, be it contam. or mycelium. How long does it usually take to see some type of growth? I inoculated them with the EQ strain and am keeping the jars at about 77 degrees F. and am using the BRF cakes.
Sorry if this is a stupid qestion but I am a first ime experimenter and could find the answer to my question anywhere.

It could take up to a year with EQ's.

4 days isnt always enough time to see growth, wait a while longer, if you were sterile with your inoculation you're probably fine
everyone is always nervous at the stage you are in, not having seen growth yet and not fully knowing if you've done everything right, what i have done in that stage is just keep preparing and inoculating more jars, it keeps you busy during your wait and by the time you do start colonizing you end up with a tub full of colonized jars, it helps pass the time and gives you good practice, and then you also dont feel so nervous about seeing growth because you know the odds are at least some of your jars will see healthy growth

smoke a joint and walk some trails or soemthing... it'll take your mind off things.
dont even peep at those jars for a few days! if you do, u'll find yourself peeping every 5 minutes.

thought i would post here, because close to my subject on the same line. I did the pop corn tek from here. and followed RR dvd. Been 4 days i can smell the corn throught the pillow cotton on top of the lid. keep at room temp 70. i used one of those cooking probs reads 72 on the jars. Its getting white but looks dry? like the end of the kernals are drying out?I had to open one up to make sure about the water content. I could easy break them and had some moisture in them. the jar i did open did not smell at all just corn?? I mark that one and set it aside. I know it has air flow but is the temp high enought? I did recive my spores in the mail and it's been cold so i hope they did not get frozen? thanks

I appreciate all the info. I didnt think I would get a response this quick! I have to say I am liking this site. I will set them aside and not look at them (pretty hard). I decided I would order 3 more syringes from spores101 so I will have something to do while I wait. I hope they dont take a year! That would suck!
