So I am planning to move my Salvia plant into a bigger pot. And advice on soil content or things to do to keep her healthy for the change?

I had to go to the hospital for sinus treatment a couple years ago. I recommended THIS to anyone with sinusitus or nasal problems. It's amazing!

Good drainage; rocks, styrofoam, etc. in the bottom of the pot.

I like a mix of perlite, potting soil, vermiculite, peat moss, small rocks and sand in that order.

A little bone meal generally helps reduce shock, but may be smelly...

Lol, you mean transplantation :P
I've had no problem with moving them, even when the soil fell apart and all the roots were exposed when I took it out!
Just be careful, use good soil and take good care of it
