3 times this year
    #7990846 - 02/07/08 09:06 AM (15 years, 11 months ago)

my car has broken down. First, it was bad gas. Then it was my transmission and this time I think it is again.

It's still under warranty but I'm just gonna get a new one after they fix it. Before something else breaks.

I swear that as soon as one thing starts going wrong with a car it's just one after another.

I'm thinking about maybe getting a Tahoe hybrid, but I'm kind of wondering if they'll have much power. I also don't want to be used to work all the kinks out. Are they reliable?

I've had numerous car problems, too. Everytime it was "fixed," there was something new wrong with it. So then I decided to plow into the back of a Cadillac, flipping the Cadillac in the process. I did this in a Durango.

No I have an '89 Corolla, dubbed "The Corollabeast," and coincidentally, it's being picked up today for transmission problems. My grandfather just had a new engine put in it after the old one decided to croak.

Some people just have bad luck with vehicles.

Don't feel bad. I just dropped $220 on a new water pump for my Olds last month. Oh well, I got the car for free, so I really can't complain.

I think I'm cursed.  I bought a new car in sept. and someone hit it PARKED.  It was 2 months old and had less than 4000 miles.  They never left any of their info either.  Hit and run.  Them faggots.  :crankey:

(surprisingly it didn't do much damage.  No one has noticed but me.  The rear fender's seems are slightly off.)

the good thing about hybrids is you get a nice tax incentive each year for owning a hybrid vehicle, I think its between 1,500-2,000 right now. As well as the money you save on fuel.

Don't buy a hybrid yet. Just get a Honda. I drove one for four years, ages 16-20.

If you buy them brand new you will have a car that won't break for A LOOOOONG TIME. Those cars are ridiculously well made. My dumbass 16 year old self ran the car over curbs, sideswiped poles, ran the gas to nothing, killed the transmission with my idiot speeding and braking, and still NO problems.

I've driven American cars too, and they all crap out around 6 years old. If you buy a new honda you're more or less guaranteed a car for double that amount of time, provided you don't wreck it into a highway barrier like I did. They save you tons on gas and they handle surprisingly well. My only complaint would have to be the standard speakers, which don't play a raunchy bassline at all.

I agree about foreign cars from Asia. I have a 2000 Hyundai with 115,000 miles on it that runs like a champ. Its survived many cross-country trips from Michigan out West.

american cars sucks, buy asian. also if your car is always breaking all the time, probably a sign of bad maintenance, or its just a piece of shit.

some drunk guy hit my parked car last night and knocked some shit around, im on a bad luck streak lately.
