In praise of high doses of Mushrooms

Firstly I think there's nothing wrong with low doses of mushrooms, they have their place, and if that's what you're looking for - fine!
These days I just feel that not enough is said in praise of sensible experiences on heroic doses - and beyond (I'm talking 5 - 10g, which is the boundary of my dosage, and I put a lot of planning and preparation into my trips).
On high doses of mushrooms the extraordinary meter goes off the scale:
Once I swam to heaven with buxom angels, emerging up from the water to a river bank before the pearly gates, a painting of Jesus floated in the water - looking into it I realised and fully understood how we are all God.
I have wandered through stalagtites and stalagmites in my own synapses and held a conversation with the spirit of the mushroom, who revealed the secrets of eternity to me, adding "but you'll have forgotten most of this in a moment".
On many occassions I have stood before the clear light, little entities heradling it with a "ta-daaah", staring into the brightness that does not blind and merged with the infinite.
I have found myself in a room outside of time, alien beings monitoring my progress then taking me on a tour of their perception of existence, explaining how they are working to restructure reality.
I have curled into a parcel of energy and shot a light speed into space and docked with a giant organic space station that looks like a jelly-fish.
I have watched my entire body and soul peel away in a procession of organic dominos, twisting and turning, as all else breaks down into similar dominos, all joined but seperate as all things in existence are.
Thrown back in time to an illustrated medieval Japan I have stared into the detail of a Geisha's fan and been filled with what could have been enlightenment.
In the weirdest trip I've ever had I believed that I had channelled the spirit of a shaman who was lost in the desert, spoken in tongues, enacting ancient rituals of cleansing.
High doses - I love them.
I just wanted to get that off my chest!

when i did my first and only (so far) mega dose trip, i was posting here saying high doses are the only way to go, until i realised meditation and low doses propell you to those same dimensions.
I thought i shouldn't do it as my mum was having a new years party RIGHT outside my garden studio flat, but i was fine, didnt freak out, it was the most incredible peacfull experience of my life, until i mixed strains.
But that aside high doses, yes! Anyone who likes tripping for spiritual purposes should deifnately consider taking a very high dose 5-10grams 7grams is enough though i think.
And remember when doing high doses DO NOT MIX STRAINS!!!

Hi guys, every person has a dark side. Something that frightens them.
If the mushrooms ever decide to show it to you, you will think twice about going there again.

Surely this doesn't have to be a bad thing? I've learned some things about myself that I didn't necessarily like, and I used them to change the way I act.
IMO, a very positive experience.

Yes well some peoples perception of the experience varies.
I do not believe there is a such thing as a bad trip.

Also, believe me, mushrooms have the capability to put a person into a unfanthomably frightening situation.
Like I said, many will think twice about repeating it if they experience that place.
Heroic is funny talk to describe such a thing.

A Out-Of-Body experience (as far as a person can go) on mushrooms is almost a safety zone. -Nothing bad or good can happen, because everything is happening and nothing is happening all at the same time. --Nothing is scary or funny feeling, because everything is being felt and nothing is being felt all at the same time.
Going Out-Of-Body is much much easier said then done.
It is the place just below that where problems can arise. -Mushrooms are no play toy at those dosages. --A person can happily trip heroicly a thousand times and then one day, the mushrooms might show it to a person.
And at any dosage (I believe) the mushrooms can effect a persons life, days weeks or months later. The same way a persons life is changed, who does not eat mushrooms at all.

I've seen absolute darkness inside myself on high doses. If you accept it, don't fear the darkness and let your inner light overcome it, then you're fine. It's only if you start trying to fight what you see because you don't like it that things turn genuinely nasty.
That said, things going wrong in "real life" while on very high doses can be really traumatic.
