What do you guys think of this? Is it good to spawn to by iteself or do you need to work on the pH? Anything good to mix with it? Seems like this is one of the best substrates you can find.

High Mountain Compost is far and none a better substrate than all the others offered on this board by vendors. they are the only true compost whereas the others are just poo/straw mix. And if you look at the other threads in this forum, you'll see that there is a substantial wait time to get your order from Mycopath. Prices are comparable so long as you use the 25% discount for shroomery members.

No need to change the pH or anything with my pasteurized substrates, just mix your spawn in.

azurescens,
please don't go into a Vendors thread and pump up another Vendor...
that kinda thing is frowned upon around here.
I don't need any Vendor disputes or wars.

If you read the content in the post. It says, 'Seems like this is one of the better substrates you can find'. I dont think that by me stating my opinion towards this statement can be considered ' pumping up another vendor' especially seeing whereas they asked, 'what do you think?'. And this isn't a vendors thread, so ease it down. I have no interest in starting a vendor war but I do, and will continue, to voice my opinion whenever I wish.

then go make a High Mountain Compost thread and talk all you want about how wonderful their product is...
and stay out of the other Vendors thread.
cosmoline was asking about Mycopaths pasturized horse manure...
and what people thought about it...
not about High Mountain Compost's products.
If you can't read a thread title...there isn't much hope for you.
Keep up the attitude problem and I'll fix that for you...
real quick!~
