older spores faster mycelium growth?

hello, i recently started my second grow my first is still coming along but with only 6/7 mushrooms every flush (any ideas why?) last Monday i made a new jar and inoculated it and it already has white stuff possibly myceliun growing i was wandering if its because the syringe has been sitting in my fridge for the past 4/5 months whether thats why it is growing so fast?

Actually it's the other way around.
The older the spores get the more time they take to colonize.
Sometimes even very old spores germinate in an acceptable time, but most of the time it'll take them longer.

A few months aren't too long for spores anyway. Most of the prints I have are older than a year and germinate within three to four days.
Fresh spores, however, just take about two nights to germinate (at least mine did).
Well, and sometimes you have spores that only a few months old and won't fruit no matter what you do.
You just have to try it.
