snoot, thanks for sharing your photographs. I like the images with the wings and feathers in action.
This hunting forum is for wild mushrooms. This forum is for birds.
They are natural carriers and distributors of fungi spores, but this one has to be moved to a different forum.
Since we do not have a Bird Identification forum at the Shroomery, well, I will figure something out.

alan thats what they call a plums&custard trich;
found these bout two years ago, fruiting in the lawn but after I picked em, it looked like they were growing from the root's of the jack pines that were around. I'm pretty sure that it causes most of the host conifer's to rot away. Should have a white spore print.

Maybe if we had some kind of sub-forum in the hunting section fellow hunters could discuss this stuff. looks like we got it figured out GG just hop on da fuckin train negro

Phenomenal pics everyone. I too agree with the need for a subforum. I like mushroom hunters, and I don't particularly like the drug-addled idiots in the pub. I like the drug-addled smart people in mushroom hunting. Maybe we could have a "Tangential to Mushroom Hunting" subforum. A thread like this one would be perfect for it, because snoot could give us all some photography tips that we'll then use when that perfect mushroom flies away before we press the shutter button!
Although even in that forum -- No fucking talking about the weather!!!!

i liked CubensisCutter's idea in PM to have a subforum called "Veteran Hunters" or something along those lines.
This is from GGreatOne234's post in the weather discussion thread. The best idea to surface so far.
A Veteran Hunters subforum (Hunting Experience, Into the Wild, Outdoors Adventures or whatever it's called in the end) could really be the working solution. Everyone should be reasonably satisfied

I'll have to agree on the subforum. It's not worth it to post much in the pub, because it just gets shat upon. Plus, like my partner in emo bashing said, fellow mushroom hunters respect each other, and enjoy talking about random shit too.
Cool orchid shot by the way. I need to get some pictures of the orchids around here this summer, and post them in the soon to be subforum. Fo sho.

snoot - Are there pictures?? I'm assuming there are. Damn, it's been like 10 minutes, they're taking forever to load. I don't get why you guys don't just upload to shroomery! I've reloaded this page twice, and it's been 10 min and still no images! And I have a pretty fast computer!

It's not the size, it just takes fucking forever for some off-site photos to load!
Deviant Art seems to take longer than most. Really annoying.
