I couldn't find any place to put this, but I figure I'm looking for an ID what better place, but I notice this guy this morning. His long nose made him look peculiar . I think this might be a kind of nut-hatch but I'm not too sure. He was eating a mix of sun/saff/corn seeds.

I am going to go with a male Sitta carolinensis (white-breasted nuthatch).
Nuthatches are really cool birds, a lot more fun to watch than most. Did he use his head as a hammer to crack that seed open?

Bird whisperer!!! That is a crazy shot. I don't think it's a nuthatch. Their beaks have a slight upward curve. I think it's a gnatcatcher. Maybe a blue-gray gnatcatcher.

Nice bird and all, but I don't think this is the right place for your thread. Maybe try The Pub next time.

I think this is a better place for bird ID's than the pub, they probably would have gotten it wrong.

If the original poster really was so keen about ID'ing the bird, there is plenty of birdwatchers forums on the internet. If he wants to share some photos with Shroomerites, I don't see what's wrong with The Pub, personal journal or galleries, or Mushroom Grow Logs and Pictures.

haha yeah man, I'm bored out side in the cold, only thing to do is take the dog's for walks and track some game. The weather is starting to get warm though, upper fortys, things are begging to melt.

no one would have had any idea in the pub and I'm sure everyone staring at the screen right now would agree.

I think You're too quick to judge.
In any case - Mushroom Hunting forum is not the place for this.
And I'm out of this thread.
