There have been a bunch of them around the mid south today. There was one storm earlier around 5, but it died down and now there's an entire other storm bearing down on us as I type this. After I get done posting this I'm turning my shit off, and going outside to smoke a blunt.
I was sitting out there earlier during the calm before the second wave of chaos, playing my girlfriend's mini classical guitar. The tornado sirens were blaring (they've been going on and off for about 6 hours now) and I thought, I wonder what tone tornado sirens are putting out. I figured out it's an E note. After that I started playing in E (I play in drop D most of the time) and the sirens were accenting my playing, or vice versa.. either way it was fucking great.
I started playing TOOL - Lost Keys and the fucking siren in the background, was perfect. Just like the actual song.
Also, on a side note, at the beginning of the stormage me and my family went to vote, but it turns out I didn't receive my registration card by the deadline for the primaries.
What the mother fuck. That pissed me off.. what pissed me off more is that the people running the voting setup in this church told us all to go down to the basement because someone heard a tornado had touched down only a few miles away. I wanted to get the fuck out - one because I had no reason to fucking wait anymore because I couldn't vote, and two because my week old son and fiance were at home alone, while this shit was going on. I wanted to be back here.. so my bro took me home. And all was good.
I'm not sure how many tornadoes have touched down during this period. I know at least 2. A bit of damage has been done.

I fucking love storms.

Yeah, I'm fine. I think we got pretty god damn lucky - blessed by the innocent and infinitely positive rays of having two babies in our house, I suppose. Those tornadoes were so fucking close to us... I felt like something was going to happen, but it never did besides heavy fuckin rain and wind. At least in my immediate area.
I just checked the body count... 52 people died, man. Last night the count was 2 before I went to bed. Holy shit...

Did anyone stop to think how a tornado could be useful to spread around cubensis spores to other parts of the country that might not have any? Then again, there may not have been any spores in the tornado regions to begin with ...
Just a thought.

This undoubtedly happens, not just with tornadoes but storms and wind in general.

Gotta think positive thoughts.
I couldn't imagine the fear and excitement of encountering a tornado. I bet that was a rush.
