What's With Huckabee

Just a quick question, as Mike Huckabee is doing surprisingly well on super Tuesday, is anyone here on the Shroomery a supporter of Mr. Huckabee and why? I see no redeeming qualities of this man. Despite the fact that I am a Christian I find that Mike Huckabee does not represent my view on religion or any of my views on good government. If someone with a positive view of Mike has any reasons for him, I would like to know. Thanks

I tend to vote conservative, but I could never vote for somebody who doesnt believe in evolution.
I doubt there are any supporters of his at all on here.

He DOES want to implement the Fair Tax plan...maybe. Maybe.

Fair Tax is definitely a plus, though I still will not vote for him. I don't think I can vote for any of the candidates that have a chance of winning. I'm really pessimistic, actually.

Although he IS a fundamental Christian, he seems like the least likely to try to legislate his religious beliefs. I could be totally wrong on that though. I definitely prefer him over McCain and Romney, and he doesn't seem like as formidable of an opponent as the latter two would be.

I haven't been really keeping up with the the republican camp all too much. That statement was mainly based on fleeting impressions of him from interviews and whatnot.

The man honestly thinks the Earth is 6,000 years old. It's so hopelessly and utterly depressing to watch people actually voting for him.
You think things are bad when we invade a country based on non-existing WMD?
WTF are we in for if Huckabee is elected and starts making decisions affecting the entire world based on fantasy?
OMG where's my prozac.

Huckabee is sincere, steadfast and personable. He does not believe in deception.
Unfortunately he does not believe in evolution, gravity or photosynthesis either.

A tape was splattered all over the news and on youtube a few weeks back of Huck saying during a campaign speech,
" The Constitution should be amended to follow the word of God "
Hucks numbers should be of no surprise considering how many Christian Fundamentalists are out there. He's their man.

Huckabee beat McCain and Romney in West Virginia, Alabama, Georgia and his home state Arkansas, and early returns show him leading in a few more states. MSNBC interviewed him and he said, "he won't drop out" and then asked about a possible Huckabee-McCain alliance and he said, "The only thing he has in common with McCain is that politics can be conducted in a civilized and gentlemanly way."

In West Virginia they have a caucus system. First round had Romney with 41, Huck with around 30 and McAmnesty well ahead of Paul. Paul got tossed for nonsupport and McAmnesty sent his delegates to Huck, giving Huck something like a 53-47 win. Straight up, he was 2nd.
Quite the fractured system but that's what you get with a state's rights paradigm.
