Like Folding at home but for money

I found a site that initially said they were trying to educate people on trading and they would give anyone who just entered their email $100. So I posted it on Shroomtalk and got in trouble because SelfInfliction is a pompous ass and said it was a site to collect emails and spam people, it wasn't. It actually turned out that it was a group using referrals to gain enough people to run the hive attack program which is similar to the folding at home program. Those who believed me got there hundred$$ added to their account but those who waited only start with $5.
The truth is they are doing folding to try to create a program that predicts individual stocks progress be it rising or falling so that they can essentially crack the code to playing the stock market and market predictions. I ran the program for 4 days whenever I thought of it, it logs out after a few hrs so you have to log back on but my account is at $1900. for 40 hrs of folding at most and I am running the folding@ home program too without it slowing down my PC and I only have a 2.1ghz PC with 1gb ram but I apportioned part of my hard drive for ram too. I don't know if I am allowed to post the address or not.
I am still pissed that I got in trouble for what really was an opportunity for everyone to get some free cash in a year, but whatever. So if someone can let me know if it is ok to post the link it would be appreciated. I would think that forum owners would want their members to have access to anything that can make their lives better regardless if they get a piece of everyone else. My forum isn't like that. I am not allowing free advertising for outright business entities unless they are friends, but as far as networking stuff and referral stuff, I have benefited from others doing it in places so I wouldn't try to stop anyone from having more in life.
Anyway I gotta go Have a great day everyone!

You said you got $1900 for 40 hours of folding.
This may sound silly, but how long does it take to get an hour of folding? (e.g. is that 40 hours of real time?)

It doesn't pay out for 365 days from the date you signed up and I started with $100 which you only start with five but yes, my balance as of this moment is $1461 but it fluctuates during the day and when I posted was at $1940. I am not worried about the drop cuz it did that at $500 and then 2 hrs later it was over $1k. It changes with the market but I am not even sweating it. I bet it will be over 10k when I cash out in 340 days

sounds too good to be true. you can PM me the link if you'd like, so i can check it out further.
Any people you've spoken to already gone through their 3xx days and cashed out? I"m intrigued to know if its possible that right before your time is up the market dies and your account is farked. But then i suppose the only real money you've lost is funding for power.

It was a new site and they didn't have the folding program up til last week or the week before so there is no way to tell. I look at it like this, it takes no effort on my part...and I didn't spend a dime. Since I am folding for team shroomery 24-7 and it doesn't effect that or my PC there is nothing to lose, right?
But I do know that if I don't turn it on I definitly woint get shit at the end of the year. I don't put my life on it or anything but I would rather share it with people and have it be nothing then not share it and get paid and have been selfish, keeping it to myself...imo

good viewpoint.
although it costs about $14/mo to fold 24/7. so there are some costs, but they're minimal if you're getting out of it what you say you are.

I just logged into the one I created with the paypal name, not the one that hit 1900 and it was at $40 or $60. Since I want to get paid I will have to drop the high one and do it with this one so in the last 4 hrs it is up to $238 but will rize and fall periodically but...it is just for fun but if it pays out then that is a bonus...I wont be left out though. I have had many times that my main income didn't come though and my mlm ventures have been just enough to save the day. Money is money and as long as it is made honestly, I want a part of it.

If someone promises to pay you more than your computer is worth for a few hours of CPU time, they're scamming or stupid. Either way I virtually guarantee you'll never see a penny. If I had to guess, I'd say it's a probably a case of social engineering and you just joined a botnet. People can PM you if they want the link but I'm saying right now as plainly as I can, don't waste your time with this you'll just get burned.

I figured at most it would be fun if anything came out of it, I am sure that they wouldn't share if they came up with some system, I am not counting on anything, so it really is no loss. I run the Folding at home program for Stanford all the time 24-7 so my point is that the PC is always on anyway so it doesn't cost extra to open a browser that I keep minimized, Thanks though.

I actually figured that it was a scam to hide money, not really a scam per se as a loophole... because they stated that the $100 was considered yours but you couldn't have it for a year so I thought it might be some way of avoiding taxes on something or something like that. I surely am not expecting anything but I prefer the better safe than sorry approach.

They pulled the hive program because they said not enough people were running it and the few that did ran constantly, like myself and it didn't work so they are doing step by step training on how to make extra income online, going through affiliate stuff etc. I don't have time to do it. I am working on helping people go green and pay less than they do buying store brand cleaners and products and have them work equally or better...so extra videos and training stuff is out for me. I will PM you the link to where it was. They don't spam you or anything but you will get autoresponder emails as new lessons are released/
