Please help me understand why I don't like them...I've tried, many times. What am I missing?

You shouldn't have to try. You just don't like them. Is ok.

I can understand how someone wouldn't so I try to suggest tracks to these ppl like the following

Talk Show Host
Electioneering
Lucky
High and Dry (how can you NOT like this song?)
Punch up at a wedding

One of these is bound to arouse your interest

The BENDS B SIDES has tons of awesome tracks that a lotta people don't know about either... really cool shit

Yeah but...radihead, I'm willing to assume, is better than Zero 7.

Maybe they have an awesome take on the song, but come on...better?

I like Zero 7, but Climbing up the Walls is one of my favorite songs. And believe me I like a lot of songs. I checked those previews, and they're interesting, but they don't hold a candle to the original.

A couple years ago they released some studio sessions from when they were called "On A Friday"

The rolling stone did a little blurb on it and..

I think the highest honor u can get as a rock band is when Rolling Stone says THIS about your band:

"Good news for aspiring guitarists: Even Radiohead was once capable of sucking"
