Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

I'm a little nervous to make any more quart jars, in fear that this WBS contains fungicide.

Should be good.

Just rinse it really, really well. That should take care of any fungicides unless it was really loaded with the stuff. Of course, with all WBS teks, you have to rinse several times during the process so that shouldn't require any more effort than standard procedure.

Cheers!
