so I have a web design class for college and one of our projects is to find a poorly designed web site and redo it to make it more easily readable, navigateable, user friendly, etc. I need to find my site soon and im having some trouble... anyone have any suggestions please?

Any of those freebie pages from Yahoo or AOL would suffice.

Although I've had great times there, the Nelson Ledges website is awful.

Hope I don't get burned for this, but I think we can all agree that this site needs some redesign: http://www.mushroomjohn.org/
Great source of info, not a great layout.

It'd be a ton of work too. There is so much information there that redesigning the website would take several months at the least.

ha, seriously. I made a myspace once so I could get messages from my band's page--but I never go to that site because it is so godawful ugly.

if anyone can find something without so much shit all over it, because organizing all of that would be a nitemare... so fare the nelson ledges site is the front runner.

I hope you're a really good web designer because you get an F- for effort.

I hate webpages that were constructed using those Webpage Construction programs. They always add a bunch of unnecessary bullshit into the page.
When you write the page from scratch, by hand, it's so much cleaner.

I just dont have the time to sift through a thousand fuckin little things and organize them onto their own pages, I have other assignments and projects and other classes. I just dont have the time to dedacate weeks to redoing a massive web site.

Ah, that's a good choice. I always wondered why they had such a poorly designed site. Great times, agreed. Linking interested people to the site? Not so great.
