I'm craving marijuana.

I just quit two days ago because I had a shroom trip that really kicked my butt and helped me see that I need to start remembering my dreams, which I can't do when I get high.
Yesterday I was strong, but today, easing into the evening, I just feel like getting high. My emotions are all whacked out and I feel totally drained having to live with them without pot to help mellow things out.
Anyway. I just had to whine. Maybe someone can encourage me to keep going with this pot-break. I think I gotta stick with it but I feel like getting really really high. Plus I was productive.

If you feel the need to get high, you shouldn't be smoking. Thats my thought anyway.
You'll gradually get better at not wanting it. Stop being such a wuss.
You go without eating, how hard can it be to go without pot?
Edit: this post sounds really above the influense to be. =P

Whatever happens, it's fine. Shrug...
Maybe you should try moderation.
ie, allow yourself a toke when you feel like you really need some help balancing your emotions... and honestly choose to abstain the rest of the time.
In my experience, dreams are interfered with the most when one smokes before sleep. A few hours of sobriety before going to bed has proven effective for allowing me to dream in the past. The catch is, you have to be able to stop yourself early instead of having the "well, now that I've smoked today, I might as well enjoy the rest of the evening..." mentality.

I went through the same thing when I was quittin- drempt about smoking up everynight for 3 weeks. I also experianced not remembering my dreams. I solved this issue with piracetum, and every day I take it.. that night, my dreams are crystal clear and I remember them thoroughly

Substitute your cravings with healthy habits until they go away. Go for a walk. Clean your place. Visit your nonsmoking friends/family.

Do something that takes alot of focus. It will help you forget that you really wanna smoke.
Maybe find some alt herbs so that u can smoke without getting THC.
I find dreams easier to remember when I got to bed high lol.

This is probably better advice than what I offered.

I appreciate the sentiment. I'm a total baby when it comes to letting stuff go. I whine, and complain and drag my feet, especially if it's something I really like. I guess what I am craving is the lazy, relaxed, euphoric feeling I get with pot, the SOOTHING I get from it, not necessarily pot itself. Instead I feel tense, crabby and on high alert, but maybe this is normal...and will fade...
Jacques; thank you for your suggestion. If it comes down to me edging into dangerous territory or smoking, I think I'll cave and moderate.
I just had a thought...maybe I should read a book to distract myself.

I do, because I have dreams about dead people, serial killers, monsters, floods, the Apocolypse, and just excessive violence in general.
I want to lucid dream so that my unconscious isn't such a downer.

write them down every time you have them. you should become more and more lucid. And be able to recall better.
I have a lot of violent dreams as well. I wonder if we have any common themed dreams?

I take breaks periodically. If you've been a daily smoker it can take a while to get used to not smoking. I find after about 2 weeks I don't really crave it anymore. You should stick with it for a month and see how you feel. Then ease back in in moderation. Just my 2 cents.
