Not doing too well.

I'm having problems...I feel very depressed. I feel like killing myself. I know I know it's the same old shit you see in this forum all the time but I don't know what to do. I'm unemployed and my relationships are all fucked up with people. I don't know who to turn to this time. There's not really anyone. I am thinking about slitting my wrist. I probably won't die but I feel like seeing the blood. I don't even know why I am posting this. I guess I just wanted to get it out of my system. I had to tell someone because I feel like there is no way out this time.
Sorry for being so depressing.

dude, just turn on some music and relax on a bed. Let yourself really think through everything. Let yourself feel the sadness or the pain, without inflicting more. Come to terms with it, and try to think through it and figure out where it's coming from and what you can do about it - but don't hurt yourself, it will only make things worse.

Why can't you get a job? If you're holding out for some great job, then that's fine, but just keeping busy always made me feel better. I know it can be hard to get a job but hell, even just being a sales clerk or something could help you out, give you reason enough to go on. You'll interact with people and it's bound to make you feel better.

thanks, I will do as you both suggest. I am feeling better now but occasionally I just get hit really really hard with a panic attack that leaves me feeling suicidal.

I strongly believe doctors over prescribe medication, but have you tried getting some outside help? I'd be weary of the medication but it sounds like you could benefit from some. Maybe some benzo's for your panic attacks if nothing else, that's definitely something I would look into. You could also consider talking to a therapist, I'd do (well I did haha), before talking to a dr about meds. Though I would try and get something if your having panic attacks.

eat healthy, and try to excercise (not easy to do when you are depressed but it helps)
just ignore the world for now and just focus on yourself. find something that you are interested in and passionate about and apply yourself to it.
learn something new, challenge yourself, it will make you feel a little better about yourself

Yeah eating healthy and exercising has definitely helped me a lot. It's very hard to get yourself to do it when you are depressed tho, but if you get out of it I'd definitely encourage you to keep up a healthy routine.
edit: meditation also has helped me, you might consider that as well.

run run run run. Get some headphones and just fucking run. It takes awhile but you will feel better. Wear yourself out. Try and stay as busy as possible, go to a doctor! If you are suicidal you should think about some meds, they helped me. You will see better days, don't forget that!
