Sorry I'm new to shrooms, I'm pretty much a noob. My experience is mainly cannabis,I'm completely new to shrooms, growing shrooms and eating them seems like a whole new thing id love to experience.
I have been studying alot on shrooms lately for about 3 months now and I'm just wondering, What chemicals trigger the growth of Psilocybe Cubensis on Cowpattys? There's lots of cattle near me and soon I'm going to check for some Psilocybe

Poor guy tried to sound so smart but came across as a complete idiot.
Hey new guy, can you pronounce psilocybe correctly??

Hey, can we all just try and be a little bit welcoming??
Thatoneguy - there is no "chemical" that stimulates growth of mushrooms on cow dung that i am aware of.
And so myco people don't think you're a n00b, Psilocybe is not pronounced "Sill-oh-cybe". The correct way to pronounce the genus name is "Sigh-loss-uh-bee".

haha omg , welcome to the shroomery thatoneguy6 ! maybe there are some chemical that trigger cubensis in nature but they come from the action of bacteria and other mushrooms in a cow patty is a hole ecosistem and a succecion of other mushrooms is nedded for cubensis to germinate and colonize the cow patty , but is not something you can put and that will be it, is more nature control in a natural habitad , if you like to understand nature learn all is nedded all , even the little worn and fly , if some of then die maybe cubensis will die as a chain reaction, in nature all animal or organism help each other something we humand , don't do to much since we are unique ,we said, but if a bacteria that help us sintetize vitamint in our instentins die we could die to , since you are a noob will be good to thread all mushrooms with respect to begging with learn all you can , canabis can help you on that ..

there is one chemical that triggers the growth of mushroom fruits... Oxygen. Other than that, it is triggered by temperature and humidity.

Georgia Gymnopilus junonius Gymnopilus luteofolius Panaeolus cyanescens Panaeolus subbalteatus Psilocybe atlantis Psilocybe caerulescens (very rare) Psilocybe caerulipes Psilocybe cubensis Psilocybe weilii ...and 2 as yet unnamed Psilocybe species!

I never studied the Latin language, and throughout most of the world Sil-O-sigh-bee is recognized most easily by the most people. I find that pronunciation perfectly acceptable as a American, so long as people understand it. easiest.
the other way that i know of (which your average person would not identify the slightest bit) is Sil-la-so-be. I could be wrong about that though because I never grew up speaking Latin as my first language, and probably not many Americans did so either.
the people at the cascade mycological society pronounce Russula as RuSHHula. well really, i was not familiar, and after hearing several people saying it with a insane emphasis of the "SHHH" i almost laughed out loud i thought that they were out of their minds.. maybe it was a inside joke i was not aware of. but really, i doubt any of them were raised speaking Latin, so really, how would they know for sure.
a example is, i used to teach English lessons in hong kong. the chinese peoples tounges use different muscles because mandarin linguistics are not very similar to English. they could not say "hello", they say "herro". plenty of that going on, i would repeatedly correct them and they just could barely do it.

I refuse to say si la so be. It will always be si lo sibe to me. It just sounds cooler to me. More badass you could say. Like cyber or optimus prime. Just cool.
But give me a few more years and I'll probably be frolicking around singing si la so be!!!
