A Couple of Questions

Hi guys,
Getting ready for my first grow (finally ) and I've now got the cash to go ahead with buying supplies.
I wanted to do a bag grow, because I need to do things as concealed and portable as possible. So my questions are:
1. Is there any Bag Tek available that indicates how to go from inoculation to fruiting all within the bag? I know this can be done, but the WBS bag tek and others all seem to cut out right after colonization.
2. If I can't fruit within the bag for some odd reason, what's the next step?
Just a quick thing to note is that I'm not looking for huge yields.
Cheers

I've never used bags personally, but I don't know of any teks where you colonize AND fruit in the same bag.
Usually bags are used to prepare bulk substrate that will later be spawned to something else like horse manure.
I'm sure you can do it but you get alot more bang for your buck if you can find a place to put a small fruiting chamber. You can get creative and put a Tupperware tub fruiting chamber (with perilite) in a cardboard box in your closet, sneak a night light in there and turn it on when you sleep, and put something on top of the box so no one suspects. As long as you open it and fan it every few hours and mist it as needed, it will work ok.
Check out some of the fruiting chamber teks and you'll find some nice cheap ones that will work well like this.

I've seen a few pictures from mitcho (I think) that had mushrooms that were grown from a bag, but I can't remember where.
So the main idea of bags though, is to colonize the substrate and then move the colonized substrate to a casing FC setup?

You can do both. You can colonize the substrate in the bag and then move the substrate to a tray to case OR you can fruit directly in the bag. Obviously doing it in the bag will not produce as great a yield as if you cased and put it in a FC, but for people with limited space and resource it's a pretty efficient way to grow.
These arent just regular grocery store bags though, you need filter patch bags that can hold up to a PC and colonization. You can find these filter patch bags at most of the sponsors (empty or full). You can also make your own.

Thanks for the info
I've got a mycology store bookmarked that ships mycology bags to my country, so I've got that sorted. It's just a matter of getting a place I can order syringes from without the cops showing up because I've ordered syringes over the internet.
I have a feeling buying 5 from a vet store won't arouse any suspicion.

That question really belongs in the Security forum but to give my 2 cents, do a mail order with Ralphsters if you're worried about it. you can just have it sent to wherever.

PS. I personally don't have experience with Invitro growing, and a fellow shroomerite, (Jeetered), is no longer posting his pictures regarding this type of growing, so I refer you to that link.
