Martha leaking + humdidty problem

Hey I have a martha set up going but i'm having problems with leaks at the bottom. It keeps leaving water build up outside of the closet on the ground. From what I can tell it seems as though it is leaking from the seams. Any ideas. I tried taping trash bags to the bottom but those aren't very effective and they are pretty much just collecting the water.
One idea was to simply pour perilite into the bottom and vacuum it out ever couple of weeks. Let me know what you think.

Pour water in the bottom and identify your leaks, then get in there with some silicone sealant after you remove the water.

Maybe its just me, but i don't have water building and condensating in my martha. My humidity is 85-99%. I am not an expert but would think you would want to avoid condensation. My solution for you outside of avoiding the problem- Buy a large enough drip pan. I have seen pans with about 2" lips large enough for both models of the martha at restaurant supply stores. The legs of the martha sit in side the pan. They are usually plastic for prepping foods. I have seen them used to marinate meats.

The perlite works, as will paper or cloth towels, which you can pick up and wring out whenever you tend your trays. Don't listen to the naysayers who will say they cause contamination. Simply replace them every few days and you'll be fine.
I use trays of perlite to catch drips, but in the areas where the trays won't reach such as around the legs of the shelves, I use paper or cloth towels. RR

RR, should i expect my martha to sweat? Cause she doesn't and they grow. Looking to make a better grow.

My solution was to just get an old rubbermaid container and stick it under. I'll vacuum it out in a week or so.
My temp is sitting right at 73 but my humidity is stuck between 84-85. Is this ok or do i really need to get the extra 5-6 percent. How much harm will it do to keep it where it is.
I'm trying to use as little power as possible since i rent and I don't pay my electric bill. Right now I've got a radiator heating it and one cool mist running along with the light (compact florescent) running for four hours a day.
right now with what I've got I can put another vicks cool mist in side the martha (I already have one in there) and see if that raises it or i can run my honeywell out side of it (not even sure if that will have any effect). Any idea will be apprciated.

put trays of perlite at the bottom of the martha.
if you already have a coolmist running in there it should be able to keep up humidity no problem

I use perlite trays set up with drain tubes leading into a reservoir.
I simply drain that every week.

Small trays of damp perlite also should fill any empty shelf space for a humidity boost. Do whatever you need to do, to get humidity to 95% for best results. Make sure your hygrometer is calibrated.
A martha should never sweat. Sweating is caused by temperature differential and is not related to humidity. RR

I think it's the hygrometer considering I did the cloth test and it maxed out at 87 percent. I even went so far as to put it on the shelf right above the humidifier but it still never made it above 84. Everything in the entire martha is soaking wet from dew so I'm guessing I just need a new Hygro
