what are you doing right now?
    #7973993 - 02/03/08 04:25 PM (15 years, 11 months ago)

I just finished reading a chapter out of a book called "Film Theory and Criticism" for my Aesthetics class and doing some stretches for my back and now I'm listening to Pink Floyd and probably going to eat dinner with my brother, sister and parents in a few minutes (I still live with my parents)

What's everyone else up to? Got any new projects, new ideas you're working on? Just relaxing after work or wasting some time before you have to go to work? I am curious :coffee:

I'm sitting here. Just finished a cup of green tea. Tonight I will probably sit in meditation and read, do a bit of organizing for the upcoming week. I am dropping a boring class and picking up a Swahili class this week, which is awesome. I'm hoping to actually be able to learn the language well, though it will take a lot of effort as a lot of the class is self-instruction. What's cool is I have several friends who speak the language so I may get to practice speaking.

Have a good dinner, man!

tea.

I had a good workout at the gym today, and i'm coming a lot closer to my goal of reaching 160 lbs. I'm sure that by the end of this month i'll find myself there.

I'm 6'1 and about 160-165 lbs.

I used to try really hard to gain weight Now if I don't watch it I go up to 170 or so and it becomes bothersome for meditation, yoga, and general relaxation. For me, I'm working on developing lean muscle and aerobic conditioning, and eating healthy. Actually, AA, that journal entry of yours where you suggested not eating after 3 pm...I've adopted it as best I can and it's awesome!

Sounds like a nice peaceful night, Lion  I've been wanting to learn a second language for a while - so far I've tried my hand at Hebrew, French and Spanish but I haven't had the dedication to really learn any of them fluently.

It turns out my family is all off doing their own thing except for my mom, so we're just going to eat kraft dinner and eggs. She wants me to watch the football game with her but I just want to read and relaxe, I don't like watching T.V. Plus being around my mom is stressful as she's always talking too much and is very passive aggressive.. and she wonders why she has high blood pressure  :banghead: Everytime I feel calm it's only a matter of time before it all goes to shit and she lays all her negativity into me. I need to get out of this house.

That's impressive. Have you ever thought about joining a 5K marathon? My town has one every year in April. I didn't do it last year but the year before that I tried it out and had real fun doing it. I think I placed somewhere in the higher 20s. Right now though I feel stronger as ever before, so maybe I'll give it another shot. :mushroom2:

I'm having another boring afternoon of unemployment... I should probably clean the house a bit before my boyfriend gets home tomorrow since it's a total mess, but I'm not feeling very motivated.

Funny you should mention this man.  I just discovered the fucking ultimate delicious hippy breakfast.

Goji berry granola, hemp seed granola, and rice milk, possibly w/ banana, blueberries, blackberries, and/or raspberries added.

:drooling:
