lets say you inoculated a pf jar with spores and one with a not completely done lc. They both start showing a little growth at the same time. Will the one noc'd up with the lc go faster than the spores?

Too many factors to say for sure, IMHO.

thanks for being honest. Lets say you inoculate both and tell us which one is faster. Lc mycelium is no faster than spore mycelium. Now a lc doesnt have to germinate so it starts growing right away. lets say 75% of the liquid of the lc contains living mycelium whereas spores may only incompass 1% of the water.
a cc of lc will should show growth everywhere it hits whereas the spore water will only show growth where the spores are.
lc are not faster colonizers but you are mixing more live tissue with the substrate which is faster colonizing

damn. thats what I thought. I just didn't let my lc colonize enough before shooting them up. I had enough spores to shoot one up, then I did three more with the somewhat colonized lc. I'll let you know what happens, if anything.

oh fuck. I didnt realize that this had to do with the 3-4 days since no colonization. leave your jars alone!! They will be fine. There was mostly likely unseen mycelium.
When you suck a chunk up in the syringe the journey thrugh the needle and the high/low pressure will tear it apart more. So there is always more in the syringe than it looks like. If you use a quart jar with 500ml of water for your lc's then you will want at least a golf bal sized chunk of mycelium before you use it. You can use it before but some of the chunks will not be visable with the naked eye.
With a lc that is fully grown you will see growth in under 10 hours and you will also se a chunk of mycelium in the jar after injection.
Leave them alone for a few more days. Do not break the verm layer and attempt to push more contams in with re-incoulating them.
